Pakistan Court issues arrest warrants of Musharraf and Shaukat Aziz


Quetta : Judicial magistrate in Quetta has issued an arrest warrant for former president Pervez Musharraf and former prime minister Shaukat Aziz over the killing of a Akbar Bugti.

Musharraf was president and Shaukat Aziz prime minister when Nawab Akbar Bugti, was killed in a cave hideout during an army raid in August 2006. 

PML-N launches 'Go Zardari Go' rally in Lahore


Lahore : Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) workers started to gather for a protest rally today against President Zardari's federal government.

Shahid Afridi is still good for one-day format , PCB Chief

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan cricket’s new chief Zaka Ashraf has said that he thinks Shahid Afridi still has plenty to offer as a one-day player.

“As a Pakistan national and as a cricket viewer I think Afridi is very good one-day player,” Ashraf told reporters. 

Pakistan Tests Nuclear-capable Hatf-7 Cruise Missile


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has test fired nuclear-capable Hatf-7 cruise missile with a range of 700 km. The test of the "indigenously developed multi-tube" cruise missile system was successful, said a statement issued by the military. 

The Hatf-7 or Babur missile has stealth capabilities and can carry nuclear and conventional warheads, the military said.
